upload a better sounding version of this show. The real problem is that the PA sounded terrible at this run - nothing to do with my recordings.
Perhaps the problem lies with your own downloading. You need to look into whether that is your real problem.

"I'm really surprised on D8 levels."
The volume isn't set on the D8 in this setup...the taper ran digital into the D8. Levels were set further up the ... chain, in the M248.
"Internals really suck if fob, NR on w/ low level setting."
Internal what? External microphones were used. NR = noise reduction? It's not at all clear what you're talking about here.
"Maybe try using an ECM high impedance or directional."
Not sure what you mean by ECM. The only ECM I'm familiar with is the series of handheld Sony microphones, which won't yield results like the Gefells, and certainly aren't as directional as the M210's, which are hypercardioids.
